Normark is a leading distributor of fishing, hunting and outdoor gear; supplying some of the world's best known brands to retailers across the country. An important part of the work of the sales team is to process dealerships' pre-season orders to ensure their stores are filled with products. The need arose for a B2B e-commerce solution in order to improve and simplify the process for the dealerships, giving them the opportunity to place orders at their own convenience. Normark chose to work with Softgear to provide a complete solution.
Softgear conducted the technical delivery of the e-commerce platform, and additionaly worked as a strategic business advisor to maximize the business value of Normark e-commerce. We did this by providing a holistic approach from a customer, operational and e-commerce perspective and act as a long-term proactive technical supplier and strategic business advisor to build an e-commerce solution that is customized for B2B, and to develop an integration module for existing ERP NAV to Normark. Softgear has created a long-term and flexible solution that is well adapted to future requirements for functionality, audience targeting and a variety of different customer types.
